
We usually do abit of driving....the 'push' is there with him well in contact and covering the outside eye....but need better 'power steering' as in understanding his inside flanks so we can move from A to B in a purposeful manner. We do keep in mind to always start and end our training sessions with a fetch, that was stressed to me years ago along with other valued advice I've gathered along the way.
Going to a 4 day Sheep camp at Dog Tale Ranch in a couple weeks ( Viklunds / Carter ) that I'm so looking forward to with the crew here. Great instructors, honest sheep and a terrific set up.... along with the comradrie that always can be found amongst the folks that attend these clinics.
