Still catching up on things...

Bull got turned out with the cow herd March 26th. The rest of the bulls need an empty pen between them and the pasture....they arent too happy about being on the unemployment line and spend too much time roaring and pacing the fence line in frustrated protest. Quade is a real handy dog to convince them to 'move along' back to their pens from watering...very difficult to do it by yourself otherwise. Also the time of year when a complacent bull will start to try and bluff a person. Also the time to never show a step of hesitation on your part and call them on it.

One of the calves getting out so some walking and adding staples along one stretch of fence. Even tried to snow today with a few frozen pellets of rain....ground still brown and dismal looking. Ewes full of milk so watching them closely...coyotes havent been back yet. Present lambs growing by leaps and bounds...need to catch and tag them.

Dog classes going smoothly with progress noted. Toys sent by Anne and Sandra a huge hit at puppy classes. THANK you again ladies.
Spent an afternoon with the plumber and discussed changing the sewer pipe and water line this summer and for a high end quote. Also did a walk through the building on best place to set up the wash bay for dogs...want to get that project done in April. Have tons of painting to do both inside and out. Have another renter - yah! ( exercise group )

CKC has sent a letter asking Breed Parent Clubs to change their Breed Standard ( to reflect no docking sweeping Canada ) Being on the Board and coming up with the next chess move in the ongoing battle...no cake walk.

Almost finished the Nationals Herding Premiums ( needed to add MVA as too hard to explain to a non aussie show sect ) and proof read over again....

Collecting donations and setting up a In Memory of Bree Leach for the Junior Awards at the CNASA Nationals. Many people touched by her tragic story ...thank you.

100 emails to catch up on & a set of nights coming up shortly....
